After years of engagement in social work, counseling and raising a family, Annette started her career in the Healing Arts as a Reflexologist and avid Yoga Practitioner.
Later she became interested in the holistic approach of Thai Yoga Massage and received her initial certification through The Canadian School of Traditional Thai Therapy in Calgary. She subsequently trained with Lotus Palm, Montreal and Spirit Winds, California.
In the summer of 2009 Annette attended the THAI Retreat & Conference in Croatia, where Thai therapists from all corners of the world met to practice together and learn from each other.
Annette’s travels have taken her to various countries in Asia, where she sought to connect with local massage practitioners to experience different traditional approaches to massage.
In Chiang Mai, Thailand, she studied under renowned Master Ajahn Pichest Boonthumme.
Annette practices Traditional Thai Massage with the intention to aid and simulate the recipient’s intrinsic healing powers on the physiological and energetic level of body and mind. Recipient and practitioner are partners during this process, each contributing to the individual outcome of a session.
“Traditional Thai Massage uses the whole person to treat the whole person.”
